Meeting Minutes:
December 27, 2011
The meeting was called to order at 8 p.m. by Mayor Maglio who stated this meeting was being held in compliance with the Open Public Meetings Act having been duly advertised.
Present were: Committeeman Heigis, Committeeman Pagano and Mayor Maglio
Also in attendance: Michelle LaStarza
The minutes of the November 29, 2011 meeting were presented for approval. Committeeman Heigis made a motion to approve the minutes seconded by Mayor Maglio (Committeeman Pagano abstained, he was absent last month)
The committee reviewed the treasurer’s report. Committeeman Pagano made a motion to approve the report seconded by Committeman Heigis. Committeeman Pagano a motion to approve the vouchers for payment seconded by Committeeman Heigis The following bills were approved for payment:

The audit agreement was tabled to the next meeting.
The Committee wished to send a letter of thanks to the NPS and Assemblyman Garrett for the quick repair to the damaged road in Walpack.
The Committee expressed desire to continue using dual EMS services with both Blairstown and Blue Ridge Rescue Squad in the future.
The Committee discussed the demolition of the garage and agreed by consensus that a separate estimate should be obtained for the removal of hazardous materials in the existing garage (gas tank, oil drums, oil tank) They suggested Petro Mechanics, S&M Management (Milford) and Applied Services for quotation.
Michelle LaStarza provided the Gold Contract from Suburban Propane. Committeeman Pagano contacted Fairclough and they do not offer service. The Committee agreed to continue with Suburban Propane.
Animal Control Agreements will be reviewed at the next meeting
The committee reviewed the meeting dates and Reorganization Meeting dates and agreed with the list provided. (January 3, 2012 and December 18, 2012)
Committeeman Pagano made a motion to approve the 2012 Salary Resolution, Committeeman Heigis seconded the motion.
The Committee discussed Senate Bill S2794 and agreed that they would prefer to send a letter supporting Hardyston’s position rather than opposing the bill and will discuss at the next meeting.
There being no further business to discuss and no one in attendance, Committeeman Heigis made a motion to adjourn seconded by Committeeman Pagano. The meeting was adjourned at 8:28 p.m.
