Walpack Township Committee Meeting Minutes:

November 29, 2011

The meeting was called to order at 8 p.m. by Mayor Maglio who stated this meeting was being held in compliance with the Open Public Meetings Act having been duly advertised.

Present were: Committeeman Heigis and Mayor Maglio

Also in attendance: Michelle LaStarza, Jen Wycalek

Absent: Committeeman Pagano

The minutes of the October 25, 2011 meeting were presented for approval. Committeeman Heigis made a motion to approve the minutes seconded by Mayor Maglio.

The committee reviewed the treasurer’s report. Committeeman Heigis made a motion to approve the report seconded by Mayor Maglio. Committeeman Heigis made a motion to approve the vouchers for payment seconded by Mayor Maglio. The following bills were approved for payment:

Committeeman Pagano contacted Jen Wycalek regarding writing a brief history for the new website. Jen stated she would be happy to put together interesting information for the website after the New Year. The committee thanked her.

Mayor Maglio stated the National Park Service repairs were nearly completed by the promised date of November 30, 2011. 

Mayor Maglio stated he would contact John Donahue to discuss the use of the garage.

Michelle LaStarza stated she had contacted Suburban Oil Company regarding a contract for oil service and delivery. She will contact them again.

A brief discussion was held regarding an Animal Control Officer. The clerk will contact the attorney and report at the next meeting.

The committee reviewed the correspondence. 

There being no further business to discuss and no one in attendance, Committeeman Heigis made a motion to adjourn seconded by Mayor Maglio. The meeting was adjourned at 8:27 p.m.
