Walpack Township Committee Meeting Minutes:
April 28, 2009
The
meeting of the Walpack Township Committee was called to order at 8 p.m. by Mayor
Fuller who stated this meeting was being held in compliance with the Open Public
Meetings Act having been duly advertised.
Present
were: Mayor Fuller, Deputy Mayor
Maglio, and Committeeman Heigis
Also
in attendance: Virginia Fuller
The
minutes of the March 31, 2009 meeting were presented for approval. Deputy Mayor Maglio made a motion to approve the minutes
seconded by Committeeman Heigis and unanimously carried.
Deputy
Mayor Maglio made a motion to approve the vouchers for payment seconded by
Committeeman Heigis and unanimously carried.

Michelle
LaStarza, CFO, informed the mayor prior to the meeting that the township would
not be able to hold the public hearing on the budget as scheduled due to
difficulties with obtaining state approval.
The budget will have a public hearing on May 26, 2009.
The
committee reviewed the correspondence.
There
being no one in attendance and no further business to discuss, Deputy Mayor
Maglio made a motion to close the meeting seconded by Committeeman Heigis.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:13 p.m.
